btCloud platform is an enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform developed by FARECHION to enable an effective service delivery and enhance the client experience. btCloud provides critical capabilities across our operational areas to ensure that we can seamlessly integrate these areas and manage all relevant internal as well as external information through one single platform. This eliminates the challenge of a hybrid and disconnected service environment that would impose significant challenges on any service provider as well as the client receiving our services.

While most off-the-shelf technologies make a company’s processes fit their technology, btCloud has been developed to mirror and control the sophisticated localization processes in place at FARECHION . Our development methodology has been to establish the discipline first, then build the technology to fit the process.

btCloud brings together sophisticated features in a unique environment that is tailored specifically for the translation needs of life science clients:

From controlling project plan sign-offs to ongoing linguist quality monitoring — all features are focused on standardization and repeatability of best practices and client-centered services. btCloud effectively manages process variance without compromising flexibility while maintaining a unique service experience for each client.

btCloud offers a vast range of metrics to our clients through btCloud Reports. The workflow and content management features allow us to simplify the sharing of translation assets using the btCloud Review and btCloud TM Share modules.

btCLoud’s development has also focused on content management and workflow automation. By automating low level tasks (e.g. converting files, moving files from one location to another, etc.), btCloud enables reduced costs for our clients as well as allows our project teams to focus on providing better service to our clients.

All project teams at FARECHION use btCloud on a daily basis to manage their projects — it is impossible to run a project outside of btCloud. Since AURORA provides the environment in which all resources work, it allows us to carefully control the various stages of all project activity. For example, our project teams cannot select linguists for a project without the linguists having gone through our testing and approval process first.

One of btCloud’s strongest points is that it allows process control in our service delivery across all teams and locations. btCloud provides the framework to ensure that project teams are following all process steps and all approvals and quality assurance checks are completed.
